Bonding with Caregivers
Your little one needs a strong bond with a caregiver to feel comfortable exploring the world. At Sproutlings, we understand that social and emotional development is another key factor to infant development. Every child is assigned a primary caregiver to ensure individualized attention. The bonds built with their caregivers provide infants with the comfort and reassurance they need to feel comfortable in a childcare setting. Our caregivers will learn from you about your child’s needs and do everything possible to care for your infant according to your guidelines.
We do everything we can to ensure that, whenever possible, your child eats and sleeps as he or she would at home. The use of bottles, pacifiers, finger foods, and spoon-feeding is entirely up to you, the parent. We follow each child’s individual schedule for eating and sleeping within the classroom.
Once your child is around 14 months old, depending on developmental readiness and individual needs, he or she may move up to the next group, the Seedlings. This flexibility in age groups provides Sproutlings the ability to provide the appropriate transition for your child to grow at his or her own pace. These transitions are never rushed or forced. We work with you to find the right time to transition your child to the next room.
